EDIT: Fixed formatting. Markdown clearly doesn't work as intended.Hi there,
I'm
Lamp, the mod of /r/games and /r/imagine. Being both a filthy weeb and someone who plays video games a lot, I've created this sub to organize gaming news and recommendation posts. Subs for filthy weebs have probably been created.
What's this sub about?~ News related to past, present and upcoming games
~ General purpose: Gaming Q&A, feels posts, rage posts, etc... Do you want to have a question answered about a particular game aspect or want to talk about it with someone?
Make a post!
~ Game recommendations. Did you just bust a nut after playing a game and can't wait to tell everyone and their mother to play it?
Make a post!
What's this sub NOT about?~ Don't make news posts based on unsubstantiated claims (he says, she says, etc...). If you absolutely have to, Put
[Rumor]
at the beginning of the title. If you're not sure about the legitimacy of a news piece you see online, think twice before posting it.
Any formatting guidelines?Until /u/cc-d creates a tagging system, we'll have to make do with putting
[tag]
in front of our titles.
~ News: Use the
[News]
tag
~ Recommendations: Use the
[PT!]
tag, short for
"Play This!"~ General purpose: No need for tags
~ Meta posts: Use
[Meta]
Example title:
[News] Destiny 2 is now LIVE on Steam================================
The above are just general rules. I will add/remove them as the site grows. Last but not least, follow the
sitewide rules. Don't be a feg. Message me for questions, or make a post in the sub. I might not answer right away due to work, but I'll get to you.
