While this site is currently in very early alpha, a large amount of features have been completed. These features include:
* Markup in posts/comments/messages * The majority of basic mod functionality * Posts/Comments should work 100% * Messages should work, but they look very ugly currently. * Creating a subreddit works as expected, the user who created it as assigned as mod with the highest rank. * Anonymous posting somewhat works. Currently, moderators can discern anonymous posters by banning them, and seeing who shows up as banned in their logs. This will be patched
* Thumnbnails, title suggestion on URL posts
... and more!
Major updates will be discussed with the community in this sub. In the future.
If you encounter any problems, comment here and I will get an alert and will address any issues.
Will there be any rules against subieddit squatting? I'm tempted to register the subs for everything I'm interested as well as alternate names for those things.
I don't know if that rule exists yet. I've explicitly squatted the SubEddit for /r/android but that's so I can ensure that it is handed off to the real mods with a proven track record. Don't want to see yahoos or hooligans forcing good subs to have to change their names, at least for my favorite sub.
