Inside my Atari
  • I'm using an NES coax adapter, and replacing the built in cable with a direct connection to the NES box made no difference in fuzz on picture. Really thinking about doing a composite video mod on this thing.

  • coax to composite? how does that work exactly?

i have like 0 knowledge of analog signals, this shit is pretty interesting.

  • well there's two ways of doing it. You either plop a box in the case that takes rf and converts it to video and audio l/r like you could find at radio shack 10 years ago, or you tap into the video signal before it gets to the rf modulator then boost it and wire that out to a yellow plug for a tv. Audio is tapped the same way but doesn't need a transistor.
