Wow, 4 years since I became involved in the ieddit project - although it must be said that my involvement was limited and relatively short-lived, I still visit the site intermittently to see how everything is coming along - I find it quite incredible really that it has stood the test of time, where many such "pet projects" have failed to maintain any momentum whatsoever. Whilst my journey with ieddit is long past, and is generally a blip in both the history of this site and the internet, I hope that any contributions I may have made at any point during its development and continued presence will ultimately be seen as positive. And as this site drifts farther and farther into obscurity, the hard work of "hard work low life" will be ever-present as the internet irreversibly moves forth.

Over the last couple of days or so, I have been designing a new front end for ieddit. So far there is a light and dark theme, however more may be coming.
Sorry for the imgur library, i hate them too, but it's the easiest way to send 24 images.
Let me know what you think of them. Not every page is featured in the album.

Please note that the font is not going to be the end product font

I am pretty sure the auto subscribe thing is a bug, but I'll talk to some of the backend guys about that.

Yep, all that stuff for members and active members has already got a spot on the subieddit sidebar

atm the site is called interests, and i have these things called, well, interests, which are like hashtags, and you put them on your post and profile, and other users can sort by these interests to find other people who are into the same things.
i am also thinking of sorting by popular, but i dont want to turn it into something where users contend to get to the top

I'm making a social network for people to find other people with similar interests through posting. There isn't a like feature, only a save feature to come back to the posts.

I'm using the Django web framework for this, and have been working on it for like 1 month now.
