by bots, you mean "a bot", which just so happens to be my bot :^) it'll slow down soon, im just populating some subs with content from reddit. it currently posts about 1 post every 30 seconds.
for the time being it'd be easy to do what the other guy suggested and limit new posts to one per user.
a few things: 1.) this should function as a requests.Session(), in which cookies are established via a request to /login/ 2.) even if isAnonymous is 0, the post will be anonymous - as per the source code, any post that even includes the parameter at all will be set to anonymous: https://github.com/civicsoft/ieddit/blob/338ce7d16c6b402224de84df5a192c1056ad240c/app/ieddit.py#L1229 3.) you can use requests.post() and omit the first parameter 4.) there is a different parameter ("url") that needs to be provided if you want to post a url rather than text 5.) to mark a post as nsfw, you'll need a 2nd post request to the /user/nsfw endpoint after creating the post

i've spoken to the owner and some type of api key/captcha bypass for developers will be implemented soon, but this works for the time being.
